Membership
TBA membership is open to all who are committed to Judaism: singles, couples, parents and their children, people of all sexual orientations, and interfaith couples. While many member families have children in the religious school, our congregation includes active senior members, couples without children, and single members of various ages.
Our membership reflects a wide range of backgrounds and educations. We share a desire to bring Jewish values, customs, and teaching into our lives within a framework that emphasizes concern for the individual, and that turns the diversity in our backgrounds and personal goals into a source of joy and enrichment for us all.
Volunteerism
Temple B'nai Abraham encourages input from its members and is proud of the number of active members who serve as volunteers. It is the temple's membership that shapes its programs and provides for its continued success.
There are Committees and special volunteer opportunities for anyone who wishes to be involved. Some our members volunteer as teachers, board members, web-master and newsletter editor. Still others chaperone student trips, work on seasonal temple cleanup or set up, and run temple special events
A particularly good way to meet some of us and learn about Temple B'nai Abraham is to attend any Friday Evening Shabbat service and stay for Oneg Shabbat and socializing afterward.
